Irregular Ear Deformity:
There
are multiple deformities of the ear. This case shown below illustrates a deformithy referred to as "Lop Ear".
This was corrected by combining many of the techniques of otoplasty. In this case the carilage was removed and replace
in an inverted fashion and the posterior ear was supported by another batten of cartilage.

Total Ear Reconstruction for microtia,
Total ear reconstrujction is done in four stages. The first is the largest surgery. In the first
stage three rib cartilage segments are removed and fabricated into an ear form. This segment is placed beneath the skin
. The next three stages are less involved than the first stage and are for the most part done as outpatient surgeries.
